JAPANESE TAMO ASH

0.00 .

All samples are generic. Grain/colour may vary from batch to batch

  • Very unusual grain pattern among wood veneers.
  • Tamo Ash is predominantly found on the Northern Japanese Island of Hokkaido.
  • It seems the very cold weather in winter coupled with strong winds give the grain a blistering effect that looks almost three dimensional.
  • Most logs will only have a portion that has the figuring whilst the rest of the log will be just plain Japanese ash.
  • RELIANCE VENEER hold major high end stocks of Tamo ash in Furniture, doors and paneling.
